Here's my acapella cover of “This Life” by Vampire Weekend, with a little help from Carson McKee on a Trader Joe's dukkah blend “shaker”.
I challenged myself to arrange and record the music in 3 days before I took off for my summer vacation, and left my home studio behind.
Two days upon my arrival , (still jet lagged), on a hot afternoon while everyone in the kibbutz was having their famous "siesta" - I felt inspired to go out with my phone and improvised tripod (of a water bottle and a thick book), to shoot this little homage to the beautiful kibbutz in the Galilee.
The landscape here is the backdrop of my childhood, as this is where I spent my summers and holidays with my family.
This is the first time I'm making something like this - I'll use a better camera next time!
