When this song came out I told all my friends (who bought the CD and played it on repeat) that I hated it + Britney Spears, but secretly I kinda liked it. (a classic teenage behavior).
It was only later on that I felt comfortable enough to appreciate good pop music and not have to apologize for it - even though Britney's singing has this babyish, nasal quality to it, I still think it's a well made, catchy song!
